Chris Bowen refuses to listen ‘to any other opinion’ besides his own

Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen will “not listen to any other opinion” other than his own views, claims prominent stockbroker Angus Aitken. “All he’s done is create less reliable baseload power,” Mr Aitken told Sky News host Sharri Markson. “And significantly higher energy prices for the average Australian.”

The life span of windmills and solar panels is 20-25 years. Nuclear is 80-100 years. So 4 installations of renewables is required to match the lifespan of a nuclear power station. That would be millions of solar panels and hundreds of thousands of windmills. Has Bowen given us the costs of that? I’ll take nuclear thanks and keep the lights on when the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine and still have money in my pocket.
PS What do they do with the millions of used solar panels?
