Whilst in the USA 30 odd years ago I and few others were taken for a tour of a Nuclear Power Plant in California. I can only say now, we are 50 years behind and the Governments on both sides of the Fence are to blame. They have come up with all the reasons why we should or couldn’t have Nuclear Power that any one with any form of an emagination could think of. To expensive, not required, not enough information, not enough expatease, and crap, on and so for.
I wonder where we would be today if not for the likes of Bradfield and His Sydney Harbour Bridge. Chifley and Menzis, with the Warragamba Dam, and the Snowy Scheme. Those that pushed for the Train network, My god we would be 4th world country by now instead of vying for a place as a 3rd world country. Australia like it’s Military, Needs Good Sound Leadership now; not latter or one day but right now. Right now we are a sitting duck, worse of then we ever have been.
I have just watched the interview and I was suitably impressed with everything they spoke about with NUCLEAR POWER.
