Vale Barry Watkins – RAA
We have received advice of the death on 15 May 2023 of Barry Watkins. Barry was a builder by trade who completed his National Service obligation in the ’50s and remained with the then Citizens Military Force (CMF).
He was later, the very well-respected Battery Sergeant Major (BSM) of 41 Field Battery at Southport on the Gold Coast during the 1960s.

My belated condolences having served under Barry at 41 Battery In Lawson Street Southport also working with Barry for Bill short building coy Southport. I remember him fondly.
